The Omega Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon “Vintage Black” ref. 311.92.44.51.01.006 is a 44.25 mm chronograph built almost entirely around black ceramic, giving the watch a distinctly modern technical character while using warm vintage-inspired details for contrast. The matte black ceramic dial is paired with brown-toned hands and hour markers filled with vintage-coloured Super-LumiNova, while the satin-finished ceramic bezel carries a tachymeter scale treated in the same style. A brown leather strap softens the otherwise monochromatic construction and reinforces the model’s deliberately retro-influenced appearance.
Inside is Omega’s self-winding Co-Axial calibre 9300, a column-wheel chronograph movement with a silicon balance spring, twin barrels mounted in series and approximately 60 hours of power reserve. The movement operates at 4 Hz and is visible through the sapphire crystal caseback, adding a mechanical focal point to the ceramic case architecture. Water resistance is rated to 50 metres.
