The Laurent Ferrier Classic Origin Opaline ref. LCF036.TI.G1G pairs the brand’s softly rounded Classic case with lightweight Grade 5 titanium. Measuring 40 mm across and 10.7 mm thick, the polished case uses a sapphire crystal and exhibition back, with water resistance to 30 metres. Its silvery-white opaline dial is deliberately restrained: a slate-grey minute track and burgundy 13–24 numerals frame four drop-shaped white-gold indexes, while white-gold Assegai hands and small seconds at six o’clock preserve the maison’s quiet, balanced style.
Inside is the manually wound LF116.01 calibre, developed around a Swiss lever escapement, free-sprung balance and Breguet overcoil. The movement runs at 3 Hz, contains 150 components and 21 jewels, and delivers an 80-hour power reserve. Visible through the case back, it combines microblasted, black-rhodium-treated bridges with hand-polished edges, mirror-polished screws and the long-blade ratchet pawl that gives winding a distinctive tactile character.
Introduced to mark Laurent Ferrier’s tenth anniversary, the Classic Origin simplified the brand’s approach without abandoning high-end construction or finishing. Ref. LCF036.TI.G1G is the original opaline titanium configuration, completed by a light-brown calfskin strap with Alcantara lining and a titanium pin buckle. It is especially relevant for collectors who value discreet independent watchmaking, manual interaction and traditional finishing in a light, contemporary case.
